Today I approached an individual who is knocking on doors saying he is from the gas company.

Once I had explained who I was and he showed me his details he decided it was time for lunch and took off in an marked vehicle.

He could be real, he may not.

Do not let anyone into your gate, ask for identification and if unsure ask any representatives if you can take their photo and of their car too. A thief clearly won’t.

All representatives of any company should all carry photo identification which you can also ask for.

Please be wary of fraudulent persons trying to assess you and your house
